Photography Masterclass Exhibition: Culture and Heritage

The Masterclass Exhibition is an outcome of a three-week workshop held in October at the Goethe-Institut Lagos and facilitated by acclaimed photographers Akinbode Akinbiyi and Uche Okpa-Iroha.

During the three-week workshop - themed ‘Culture and Heritage’ -, both facilitators and six workshop participants visited Osogbo and its internationally-renowned groves. Images produced during the workshop will be featured at the Masterclass Exhibition opening on November 5 during the LagosPhoto Festival and in Germany in 2016. The annual Photography Masterclass falls within Goethe-Institut’s Centres of Learning for African Photography project. Participants in this edition are Kemi Akin-Nibosun, Chidinma Nnorom Chinke, Godsproperty Chinenye John, Obinna Valentine Ojiaku, Atilola Olubela and Nneka Christiana Iwunna.
