The New York Times ‘Lens’ Exhibit (Looking Forward) Curated by Whitney Richards.

A selection of images by photographers around the continent published on Lens. While religious, racial or identity con2icts may arise in different regions throughout Africa, the nine featured photographers show- case a wide- range of communities captivating stories of courage, resilience and hope for a better future. Participating photographers: Katie Orlinsky, Glenna Gordon, Joao Silva, Sipho Mpongo, Sam Phelps, Andrew Esiebo, Robin Hammond, Zara Simiry and Carolina Arantes.
