LagosPhoto 21 - Emotional intelligence- Performance Exhibition: Hermes Iyele.

Emotional Intelligence captures the importance conveying emotions for comprehension of the need to incorporate and acknowledge the differences among individuals that do not pose a threat to their community as progression towards a more inclusive society.

This performance by Hermes Iyele addresses the importance of individual self-expression especially within a society that undermines unique creativity. Through the use of speech and body language in a performative panel, Hermes will illustrate the importance of expressing and understanding emotions as a crucial part of human existence and more specifically how it relates to creating art.

Hermes Iyele, along with Sunday Ozegbe, curator and choreographer, and Iziegbe Odigie, dance artist and content creator will partake in the discussion.

Iyele’s exhibition also includes a dance performance with selected students from the YECA (Youth Empowerment through Contemporary Art) as part of this year's showcase at the LagosPhoto Festival.

Venue: African Artists Foundation (AAF)
3B Isiola Oyekan Close, off Adeleke Adedoyin street, off Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Date: Nov 6
Time: 6:00pm
